BMI belongs to the Department of Electrical, Computer and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Pavia.
Founded in 1982, it is a center of excellence in education, research, and innovative IT solutions in the healthcare domain.
Today, around thirty people work with us, focusing their research activities on:

In recent years, our laboratory has participated in several research projects funded by European Programs (Summit, Inheritance, Mobiguide, M2DM, MyHeart, Homey, T-IDDM, GAMES, PULSE, Mobiguide, MOSAIC, Brinteaser, CAPABLE, GUIDE-AI) and by National Initiatives (Fit4MedRob, DHEAL-COM).
