Biography
Arianna Dagliati is an Associate Professor at the University of Pavia, Department of Electrical, Computer and Biomedical Engineering. Her research focuses on temporal data analysis, graph representation learning, and synthetic data generation. She holds a Master’s degree and a PhD in Bioengineering and Bioinformatics from the University of Pavia. She conducted visiting research at the University of Pennsylvania and held research fellowships at the University of Manchester. Since 2013, she has led and contributed to several EU and international projects on the application of AI to type 2 diabetes, neurodegenerative diseases, coronary artery disease, and post-acute COVID-19 syndrome. Her PhD thesis received the Marco Ramoni Award, and she was named an AIME Rising Star in 2021. She has served as a Board Member of AIME since June 2021. She is also a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Biomedical Informatics (JBI) and has served on the editorial boards of IEEE EMBC and IEEE ICHI.
