Description

The aim of the European project BRAINTEASER is to develop models for predicting the progression of multiple sclerosis (MS) and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), by creating a system based on wearable sensors to monitor the course of these neurodegenerative diseases and support decision-making processes and prevention strategies.
In particular, applications are designed to provide clinicians with useful tools to suggest targeted interventions that may help slow disease progression and optimize patient management. BRAINTEASER therefore integrates multiple data sources, generating datasets that include information on health status, lifestyle habits, and environmental factors.
Funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (grant agreement No. GA101017598).
