Biography

Pietro Bosoni is an Assistant Professor (RTDa) at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Information Engineering at the University of Pavia. At the same university, he obtained his Master’s Degree in Bioengineering in 2017 and his PhD in Health Technologies, Bioengineering, and Bioinformatics in 2022. During his research career, he was a visiting scholar at Brunel University London and Aalborg University.

His Master’s thesis was awarded the “Mario Stefanelli” prize, while his PhD thesis received the “Gianluigi Zanetti” award from the Italian National Group of Bioengineering. His scientific activity focuses on time-series data analysis and the application of machine learning methods in biomedical and environmental fields.

He teaches the course “Basic Computer Science” in the Bachelor’s Degree program in “Environment and Workplace Prevention Techniques”, and the course "Protection of Privacy and Private Law in the Digital Dimension" within the Master’s Degree program in “Law for Prevention, Innovation, and Security in Business and Public Administration” at the University of Pavia.
